I forgot to add that in that documentary, Francis Bacon wrote a book entitled "The New Atlantis" that is the 'manual' of Freemasonry that the founding fathers used to set up the United States.

Sarahsmile is correct. We know a 32nd degree Freemason that used to be a JW. So he enlightened us and told us several things...
The Freemason members do not know of any higher degrees above 33 until you get there yourself. He said that there could be thousands of degrees but it is all very secret with a 'Blood oath". The higher degrees are known as "THE WHITE HATS" because they always wore them. They are also known as the "ELITE ONES or Illuminati"
Charles T. Russell was higher than a 33rd degree and the lodge/temple WILL NOT TELL ANYONE BELOW A 33RD DEGREE WHO MEMBERS ARE OR WHO THE WHITE HATS ARE!
That was all he could tell us without breaking his oath. But he was very surprised at how much we knew about the Freemasons because common public isn't supposed to know some of these things. We learned them on a documentary entitled "Secrets of the Founding Fathers of America"

why i ask this question is because how would this be explained at a jc.
because the person who reported it to the jc was reading something that they shouldn't of.

Well, I was talking to a long time Elder friend of ours, and I brought up an interesting article I read in Archeology magazine about the destruction about jerusalem in 587bce, he immediately went on the defensive and said 'Archeologists & historians can be wrong. and we have to wait on the faithful slave not our own understanding." I mentioned that it was just an article on Archeology magazine website. He replied that it didn't matter ANYTHING that goes against the faithful slaves spiritual food is dangerous and apostate thinking."
So, this is the kind of attitude they have towards independant research and thinking.
We had to just endure an un-invited visit from 2 elders in May, because my hubby showed his non-JW brother some things from watchtower literature that we discovered to be deceptions, subliminal pictures in the literature etc. His brother showed their mother and she immediately called her elders and started the witch hunt. His own mother lied and said he was showing apostate literature and now all our friends and family are shunning us. And we haven't even had an official JC meeting. You can now get into debt using credit cards to donation to the JW's
by life is to short ini knew this was coming but to actually see it was another thing.. i am a huge dave ramsey follower where he hates debt and charging on credit cards.
he totally feels everyone should be out of debt and pay cash only.
that everyone needs to do plastic plastic surgery to cut up their credit cards.

Now that I am out, which bible should i read? Feeling free at last!

there is no way i will read the wt one..so i still want to have a relationship with god but don't know how to choose a bible.
it is very hard to dewired yourself and ,sometimes i feel that i don't have a relationship with him.the what ifs come and go still.last night i was up all night reading and researching , can't shake off the shock still to know ttatt.

I got a layman's parallel bible from Amazon pretty cheap. I think it was only about $10. But I like that version because it has 4 different translations

I missed a lot of TV over the last 30 years
by sosoconfused insince i have stopped attending meetings i have realized that there are alot of good t.v.
shows that i have missed as well as channels that i would not watch because they would no doubt be in opposition to the scriptures(har har).. .
i have been watching the history channel and the discovery channel so much over the last few months that it is amazing.
